Plume, the Vineyard Restaurant is all about fabulous local wine and produce and how together they can celebrate culinary diversity. Just an hour drive from Auckland or Whangarei, Plume is a must visit destination on any Matakana wine or food journey.
While Plumes menu essentially reflects local cuisine it also celebrates New Zealands cultural diversity and new thinking. We like to think our dishes fuse the flavours of global kitchens with New Zealands own traditional heritage.
We have an open style kitchen where the chefs are an integral part of our guests experience. Our wait staffs attention to you in the best traditions of rural dining and desire to make your visit a memorable one is a testament to their professionalism and enthusiasm for good food and great wine.
Our chefs prepare everything in our kitchen from scratch. Their focus is on fresh, seasonal produce set within a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Plume is open Tuesdays to Sundays for lunch between 11am and 3.30pm and Fridays and Saturdays for dinner between 6pm and 10.30pm. Always check the website for latest operational days and times as in summer peak Plume may be open daily for lunch and dinner.
